Accurately measures ranges out to 1,000 meters with an accuracy of + or -1 meter. The Rapier Ballistic, contains a wireless module capable of connection to an external smartphone. With this feature enabled the free to download MTC Ballistic app can be used to instantly calculate points of impacts, hold-over, even windage.
The Rangefinder emits invisible, eye safe infrared energy pulses calculating the distance by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the Rangefinder to the target and back.
The maximum distance for highly reflective objects (such as a a white wall) is 1300 yards/1200 meters and a field target can reach 400 yards / 370 meters.
