As the flagship model of the Microtech OTF series, this represents the latest generation (Gen 3) of the Ultratech. The ZBP Ultratech sets a benchmark for Out-The-Front technology and promises to impress with its numerous enhancements. These first of its kind production Zero Blade Play Ultratechs feature M390MK blades and Torx hardware. They are equipped with milled titanium pocket clips that include ceramic balls, as well as a new titanium glass breaker. The contoured chassis handle offers a lighter, more ergonomic grip, finished in a smooth, flat texture.
The New OTF Dual Fuel Drive system makes these knives the smoothest Microtech has ever created, allowing for exceptionally effortless opening and closing. The new switch is mounted on a milled platform (Crud Cutter), which helps to minimize pocket lint and debris, reducing friction and enhancing reliability while decreasing the need for frequent cleaning
