Talon Tunes
Founded in 2002 Talon Tunes Tony began as a firearm shooting enthusiast and competitor.
He has been a competitive shooter since 1978 in NRA .22 Pistol, NRA Three gun, USPCA, and IPSC. He is also a certified NRA and USPA range officer. During his competition days Tony was introduced to high powered air rifles and a new passion began, currently his expertise is precision shooting.
Talon Tunes customizes rifles to meet your specific needs, forming a one on one relationship with every customer. Each rifle is thoroughly tested making sure it performs at its best before leaving our shop to be shipped to you. We can sell you a customized rifle in any configuration ready to shoot, or you can send your rifle to us for modification.
We are not a “drop ship” website, our shelves are literally bursting with inventory. We have a very personal interest in our products and in you, so don’t be surprised when you get a phone call from Tony after your purchase, just so he can get to know you and see how everything is going. We are not your “sell it and forget it” type of guys, we don’t care about transactions, we care about people, and exceeding their expectations. I received my most recent airgun from Tony at Talon Tunes a little before noon today, Tuesday November 4. I ordered it Friday morning and they shipped it via UPS Friday afternoon after testing it. I put a scope on it and started testing pellets. No complaints, it shoots great and I got great quick service. The gun was well protected and arrived in fantastic shape. They included the velocity they got for several shots in their testing and a target with the distance clearly labeled. The tune is good with ~8 grain pellets going ~925, ~10.5 grain at about 870 and 13.4 grain about 770 fps. In my tests using just the pellets I had on hand the best groups were 1/4 inch outside to outside with 13.4 grain FX and JTS. I worried a bit when the first shot by me had a lower velocity but I checked again today, the next day and it was right in the 10 shot string. The tune is excellent making the gun totally ready to shoot as-is.

I just got delivery of my new Taipan Veteran2 from Talon Tunes. It was packed really well so the damage from the shipper (crushed box corner) had no affect on the actual Taipan packaging. I had originally ordered a different gun, but Tony worked with me and I am very happy with what I ended up with. The Veteran is exactly how he described it, he also included a full sized mat and three proof cards with different ammo. Great service. Thank you Tony, cant wait to shoot it.
